This stunning family residence, established in the 1980’s, extended and renovated in 2018 is built with local Limestone, and has a unique design with its hexagon shaped lounge. The exposed wooden beams encased in iron are an inspiring architectural feature.

The Sandcastle has everything your family could desire while away on holidays. Electric gates to enter this holiday retreat that is breathtaking the moment you press that button and drive to the circular driveway which can easily park at least 8 cars.

You will be greeted with a stunning landscaped outdoor area designed and installed by Dave Franklin, along with the inviting pool & spa which is heated during your stay for all day usage no matter what the weather. There is also a separate guest house with its own ensuite, kitchenette (no cooking facilities), lounge suite and stunning views.

The Cathedral ceiling is architecturally designed with steel beams throughout the open plan lounge, living and kitchen area which have views from nearly every window.

The large space offers a huge entertaining area for the family to relax, entertain and enjoy.
There are 4 bedrooms internally – Master with ensuite, an additional bathroom with large bathtub to soak and relax, another living space downstairs which hosts the pool table, sofa bed and large TV, as well as multiple outdoor areas to sit and relax via the feature wrap around deck which takes in various stunning views.

The outdoor kitchen has the most amazing vantage point to watch the children play on the basketball court or swim in the pool. Don’t forget to sneak out the back of the entertaining area and find the lookout on top of the Sand Dune.

You will find high quality craftsmanship and design throughout with timeless contemporary lines and a carefree design providing the ultimate entertaining beach house.

Flowing Tasmanian oak floorboards and waterfall marble benchtops showcase the luxury appointments, whilst there is carpet in the main bedrooms-the flexible floor plan is ideal for family gatherings to enjoy.

A host of luxury features include ducted heating and refrigerated cooling, multiple open fireplaces, quality appliances, heated magnesium swimming pool and spa, off-street parking, multiple stunning views.

The overall aesthetic is very private and showcases coastal living at its finest.

All situated within walking distance to the Rye Back Beach and local shops. A five-minute drive from St Andrews Brewery and Golf Course, Moonah Links, The Dunes, Peninsula Hot Springs, Alba, Rye township & only 10 minutes to Blairgowrie & Sorrento Village.

Downstairs Lounge Room – 1 Sofa Bed (Sleeps 2) – suitable for teens & children
Guest house – 1 x Queen Bed (Sleeps 2) with kitchenette, shower, toilet & TV.

There is also a basketball half court, which also serves as a putting green and an indoor 8ft x 4ft snooker/pool table and Wifi throughout – there is entertainment for everyone.

Adjoining the stunning infinity pool is an outdoor entertaining area that is just like staying at a hotel resort complete with stunning outdoor fireplace, wood fired pizza oven, bar fridges and BBQ.

We also have a Type 2 EV charger available at the property. It is slow as it is not a dedicated charger.
